I am very pleased that you have the cookbook. I owned a copy which I used during my college days in California, cooking for friends. During the move to an apartment. I misplaced the book. It is no longer in print here in Singapore. It is still cherished by everyone here who loves Peranakan (Chinese-Malaysian fusion) cuisine. Mrs. Lee was a terrific cook. In case you did not know, her eldest son, Lee Kuan Yew, was our Prime Minister, and will be 91 years old this year. Her grandson, Lee Hsien Loong, is now our Prime Minister.

I received the knife today, and it's AMAZING. it is so much bigger then my 12" Chef Knife that i got from a grocery store, and this 13" is twice the size! Thank you so much, Bill, for the very fast shipping and for the vintage knife!

The Time-Life series books just arrived. I opened the Cooking of Russia book and there was a recipe for Georgian/Caucasus' Katchapuri!! I spent a year there in Batumi. What a thrill to see several recipes of fave dishes.
