Joy of Cooking with DJ (pristine '67 printing of '62 edition)

ny Irma S. Rombauer and Marion Rombauer Becker. One of the best preserved copies of a classic Joy of Cooking we’ve ever run across -- a hard to find, very clean copy, still with its dust jacket -- a time capsule 1967 printing of the highly regarded revised and enlarged 1962 update. Long considered the best general cookbook of its time, it is still regarded by many as the last great Joy – one that added 1,200 new recipes but still kept the pre-60s classic recipes. A total of more than 4,300 recipes, some dating back to the Thirties. This edition has been passed down by mothers and grandmothers to daughters and sons, making a hardly used copy like this a prize. Many illustrations. Red ribbon place markers. Condition: book and dust jacket VG++/VG++
