Mastering the Art of French Cooking Vol.1 (VG+ -no DJ)

Without a doubt this is the best copy of this book in its original design we've run across. The original owner admitted "I hardly looked at it since I bought it."

Child's name appears first among the three co-authors as it did in all printings following the success of her mid-'60s TV cooking programs on PBS. It is NOT the Book Club edition that used cheaper paper, and used black ink instead of red in the well-known FEP illustration by Sidonie Coryn, "Ecole des Gormandes."

The book is extremely clean and shows little or no use. No previous owner's name nor notes in the text. Spine has not faded; top red page tops not faded to pink. A strong VG+.
