Original DJ of green, ochre with white print. The late author and cooking teacher's first, and most say, her most important book. When it first appeared, critics raved that she'd done for Italian food what Julia Child and Simon Beck did for French food. Her now-famous pasta sauce with onion, butter and tomato and her "Hunter's Style" chicken come to mind.

Book is hardly used. Gift inscription on front free end paper. Sought after and increasingly hard to find in hardback. especially in this condition. VG+/VG+.
