Philadelphia Inquirer Fall and Winter Dinners Supplement (1936)

by Mrs. Anna B. Scott, hard-to-find Depression-era cooking supplement to The Philadelphia Inquirer, November 15, 1936. Softcover wrappers, 6 by 8 ¾”, color drawing on front and back covers of a young woman in a blue print dress measuring ingredients over a bowl, pink background, staple binding, 34 pages. The pamphlet is devoted to fall and winter dinner recipes -- usually a meat, veggies, salad and dessert deal. We particularly like the recipe for "Hasenpfeffer" -- fried disjointed rabbit with thick milk gravy.

Condition: Reading Copy Only. Covers nearly separating; pages intact, but show heavy age wear; fragile paper cover tears, pages tanned and chipped or flaky at extremities -- must be handled with care.
