Very hard to find in the U.S. The first comprehensive Bahraini and Gulf region cookbook ever published in English, the author says. We certainly have never seen one before. The book begins with a short introduction to Gulf region spices, black limes and dessert spices, and then there are chapters on Breads, Chapatis, Soups and Sauces, Rice Dishes, Main Dishes (meat, fowl, seafood, etc.), Desserts, Ice Creams and Syrups, and Pickles.

Trade paperback, color cover photos, black spine with title in white, 198 pages. Condition: book is clean but the bottom tips of some later pages show slight rippling from past moisture stains, but do not stick together. Still, an acceptable copy of a groundbreaking book and priced accordingly: VG.
