All About Home Baking (1936 printing)

by General Foods Corp. (no editor listed), 1939 printing of the 1933 publication. Hardback, no DJ (as issued?), 144 pages. This is one of our currently top-viewed items, no doubt because it features pre- World War II baking recipes, using the "finest quality" ingredients that just happened to be products manufactured by General Foods -- such as Swan's Down Cake Flour, Calumet baking powder, etc.

Covers have a vertical black title stripe through yellow, grey and white plaid. This book, with updated covers, was in print for three subsequent decades. Vintage recipes for cakes, cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, frostings, etc. Color and B&W presentation photos throughout.

Covers show wear at spine, aging wear, FEP pulling apart from binding. Still, a presentable VG.
