Green/gilt cloth hardback with paper color illustration on front cover. 162pp. including color and b&w illustrations and photos. Kagawa was president of the Women's College of Nutritive Cooking, so she knew her stuff. While this book stayed in print into the '60s, this early version comes from an era in which such books were labeled "Made in Occupied Japan." Must have been a tough sell. Pages yellowed. VG/--.
