Hard covers, a color photo of Mrs. Hurd reading from the Bible on the front cover, white comb binding with title in red, 368 pages. The authors' book has gone through 47 printings, and is still in print in a revised edition. In addition to recipes and menus, there is a terrific glossary/dictionary of foodstuffs from Agar-Agar to Vanilla Bean. Mrs. Hurd's background as a home economics teacher comes into play in chapters devoted to nutrition and combinations of healthy ingredients. Nice condition: VG+.
