Chapters on ingredient profiles and beer styles as well as recipes for two dozen ales, more than a dozen lagers, and a few specialty brews such as Christmas/Holiday Beer. These are followed by a 60-page reference section that describe procedures from brewing and mashing to bottling and conditioning, weights and measures, formulas and a directory of supply shops. This self-published book was subsequently picked up by Harper/Collins. Out of print. Clean plastic color covers show slight curling at edges, otherwise VG+.
