Henderson and his banker wife were large cultural presences on the New York society scene from the 50s through the 90s. Henderson was a musical phenomenon for 50 years, a composer, conductor, NBC music director and eventually founder and first musical director of the New York Pops. (We knew him first as the Tonight Show first musical director when Steve Allen created the show). They lived large, and at one point owned four restaurants in New York City,, Garrison, N.Y. and St. Thomas.

This book is lavishly illustrated with color photos of food and rustic Holiday winter scenes of their Connecticut gallery and cooking school they called The Silo at Hunt Hill Farm located in Milford, which is still in operation as a trust. The CD of holiday music is missing. Otherwise VG+/VG+.
