We ship via US Postal Service with insurance. Unless requested to do otherwise, we will ship a book purchase by Media Mail. The book will be packed well, in most cases in a US Postal Service box of applicable size, and protected by bubble wrap. If Priority Mail is requested, additional postage will be required.
If you are not pleased with your CookbookBazaar purchase, contact us within three days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price. We will acknowledge your return request within three days.
You may then ship the item back to us within three days of the acknowledgement. The item must be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed otherwise in writing), insured (if available) for its purchased price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you. Each book has an identification mark to prevent substitutes. We recommend you use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt.
The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance, unless agreed otherwise between the buyer and shop owner. After we verify the returned item is as originally sent, we will issue a full refund within three days.
For our protection as well as yours, when making a refund via personal check or money order to a buyer, we will send the refund to the buyer in a traceable manner where receipt confirmation can be verified.
NOTE: Our shipping rate is designed for U.S. customers only. Customers outside the U.S. should expect a higher shipping rate because of rising postal costs. We advise that a customer email us, mention to which country an order is to be shipped, and we will reply with the cost of shipping to that country.
